Card Deck

I made two of each type except for the back because it was getting late and the power was out as it was. These were all done in Illustrator and no I don't like them in how they turned out. I feel that I could have done a lot better than this but because most of my days were taken up with certain important things needing to be taken care of, I had to do it at the last minute. I know I could have done a lot better than this.

Art Deco

Here is my art deco of Captain Marvel done in Illustrator. I still have a bit of trouble on what exactly art deco is other than geometric shapes. Other than my understanding of that, I feel that Captain Marvel turned out really really well and I'm extremely pleased with it. I couldn't figure out a good font for this so I just had chosen and art deco font called Andes. This Captain Marvel is a remake from a t shirt version of Captain Marvel that I had found on the internet. I might tweak it a bit more but other than that I very much enjoyed this.

Zeotrope

 Here is the zeotrope I had done in Illustrator, taken into After Effects and then finished in Premiere Pro. I think it turned out alright, I know I could have done better and the original one that I had done was of a bunny and its front legs went up and down but I left it unfinished because someone said it didn't look right (they thought dirty). Later I was told I should do one with the loch ness monster. I plan to try that in the future (if I remember). All in all it turned out well. Not the greatest in my opinion but the sound effects and music help make it seem like waves (maybe less of the music next time)

Interactive Infograph

Here's a picture of the infograph that I had done in InDesign. It did and didn't turn out the way I had hoped. I am having issues with the numbers and every time I got to save it as an interactive PDF, the numbers would disappear. So I tried other things and still didn't have any luck. Now I am just figuring out what was going wrong. Every time I went to save as interactive, it would change on me to print. Then I realized that I had missed a step that I was suppose to do. Finally done the right way and it's okay, I think that it should have been something else. I need to work with the interactive PDF more and InDesign more.

Here is my word press 4 page website. I think it turned out quite nicely for never touching word press before. I did have a bit of difficulty when I started out. I couldn't figure out how to put a video up on the word press site so I just put in the you tube link. I would have to work with word press more to figure it out better but for this assignment, I think that my site turned out quite nice.

Newsletter

My newsletter! This was done in Dreamweaver and the pictures were saved for web through Photoshop. The newsletter turned out fairly well, although looking at it now it almost look a bit too text heavy on one side but I think it would be that way with this design no matter what. All in all it looks pretty good to me and I am pleased with the way it turned out.
